  • Coverage The required coverage for proper waterproofing for areas such as bathroom floors, terraces and balconies is 1.0 kg/m² for 2 coats. For areas like water tanks, an additional coat is required, with a total of 3 coats.
  • Drying Time Touch Dry: 2 - 4 hours
    Recoat: 2 - 4 hours per coat (direction perpendicular to the first coat)
    Curing shall be allowed for at least 24 hours to achieve optimum strength before trafficking. Full curing
    shall be allowed for 3 - 4 days before applying further products. Curing times are subject to tempeture and
    humidity conditions. Avoid rapid drying, direct sunlight, strong wind and rain.

Dulux Aquatech™ Waterblock 2K is a special two-component cementitious waterproofing coating formulated with unique additives. When the liquid and solid components are mixed, it provides advanced waterproofing protection for dampness-prone interior and exterior areas. It is specially formulated to form a
protective, water-resistant film that can resist constant exposure of water.
Stir and mix well the solid and liquid components together before use, at the recommended solid-to-liquid mixing ratio of 4:1. Put the liquid component in a clean mixing container and slowly add the powder
component whilst stirring. Mix until a homogeneous slurry is formed without any unmixed powder left. Use a slow-speed mechanical mixer or mix by hand if small amount is needed. After mixing, the coating shall be avoided from rapid drying and immediately applied by a brush or a trowel within the pot life of 30 minutes. Application shall be avoided under direct sunlight and/or strong wind.
• Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding/ flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment.
• Lift with care – gross weight exceeds 10kg.
• Wear eye/hand protection.
• Do not breathe vapour/ spray. • Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
• Remove as much paints as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning.
• Keep away from heat/sparks/open flame. - No smoking.
• Keep away from combustible
material.
• Keep away from food, drinks and animal feed.
• Store in a cool and shaded place.
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
• Do not empty into water course.
• Read label before use. • Keep out of reach of children.
• If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Surface Preparation:
    The surface must be clean, sound and free of dust, excess mortar, oil or other loose particles.
    Cracks, honeycombs and other defects must be repaired using suitable cement mortar.
    For excessively dry surfaces or substrate, dampen the substrate and keep it continuously moist for 1 - 2 hours before application.
    Remove any excess water or standing water and allow the surface to become almost dry to achieve a saturated surface dry condition before applying Dulux Aquatech™ Waterblock 2K.
    Minimum 2 coats of Dulux Aquatech™ Waterblock 2K.
    Apply the first coat in one direction (allowing 2 - 4 hours of drying time) and then apply second coat in a direction perpendicular to the first coat.
    For areas with extremely high infiltration, it is recommended to use 3 coats.
    Pot Life: 30 minutes
    Storage: Store at a cool, shaded and dry place in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging
    NOTE: Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
  • 2. After use
    Clean all equipment with water immediately after use or before the product sets. Hardened material can be removed mechanically.
